This is the HDR version of a previous shot taken on the northern point of Kailua-Kona Bay. I'm not a big fan of over-cooked HDR and so I tried to make to make the photo as natural as possible, i.e. to capture what the eye sees but the camera cannot...

A rare clear day with dormant Hualalai volcano visible all the way to its peak of 8000 feet. Lavender sunset colors reflected softy off the clouds onto Kailua Bay. My home is just to the left of the white church steeple in the heart of Kailua-Kona.

Panoramic sunset shot of the nice homes located on the beach just north of Kailua-Kona bay. Nice place to live if you can afford it...
